Starting with hand cut Dutch Oak Wood which is carefully shaped and sanded to the perfect form. The Oak Wood is then hand painted in 5 beautiful variations of varnish to give each piece its rich look.  Imported Muschelkalk Limestone from Germany is then cut & polished to create the Basel's unique 'Legs'.

Muschelkalk Limestone

Muschelkalk Limestone is a beautiful grey limestone originating from Germany.  This deep grey stone is formed by large sea shell fossils on polished surface sedimentary rock.
